If you browse through the 3D content offered at Daz Productions you will noticed that most items are tailored towards specific models. For example, the Concord Navy clothing item can be used with the Victoria 3 model and the clothing pack set for Michael 1.0 and Victoria 2.0.

I was interested in using the Concord Navy uniforms because I wanted to have a bunch of characters who were some sort of space marines in my comic book project. I also wanted to only use the newer generation 3D models (Victoria 3, Michael 3, David, and Stephanie) instead of the older generation Michael 1.0 and Victoria 2.0 in my project.

Unfortunately, this means that I could only use the Concord Marine uniforms with Victoria 3.0 and that implied that I could only have female space marines. Then I noticed that there was a Victoria Male morph item at Daz Productions. I thought this would be the answer to my problems! Using this morph, I could turn Victoria into a male character and thus allow me to have both female and male space marines. So, I spent some money on the Victoria Male morph product and some add-in character packs for the Victoria Male morph.

However, I later discovered that the Concord Marines uniforms were just textures and that the newer generation 3D models (known as the Millenium models) from Daz Productions shared many common features that would allow you to use the same textures on different models. In other words, I could use the Concord Marine uniform with David with no problems. And here is the proof!

If only I had known about this before I bought the Victoria Male morph product – I could have save a little bit of money. Oh well, I'm sure I will find good use for the Victoria Male morph product somewhere down the line...
